Established in 1858, Tyrrell’s is a truly national wine company with their premium vineyards extending from their home in the Hunter Valley to other distinguished grape growing regions of Australia including McLaren Vale and Heathcote.
Fourth generation family member and Managing Director, Bruce Tyrrell heads this winemaking company and his children. Jane, Chris and John, are involved in the family business, illustrating that this iconic Hunter Valley winery will continue to be Australian owned well into the future.
Since 1971, Tyrrell’s has been awarded 292 trophies and over 4,600 medals and in 2010 was named Winery of the Year in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion and The Big Red Wine Book by Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh. Tyrrells are a member of Australia's First Families of wine.
