Mayer Family Vineyards are a small producer of hand crafted, single vineyard
wines.
Timo Mayer believes that wines are made in the vineyard and therefore tries
to interfere as little as possible. The red wines are unfined and unfiltered
to show the true expression of the 2.6 hectare of vineyards that surround
his home, on the “Bloody Hill”. Timo’s aim is to make wines with a point
of difference, and that reflect his specific terroir as well as his European
sensibilities. As he writes on his website “Bring back the funk!!”.
