Destination: ‘S.C. Pannell, McLaren Vale’



Stephen and Fiona Pannell produce wines from two vineyards in McLaren Vale and from the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Stephen’s extensive knowledge and experience has been garnered over many years working with some Australia’s iconic wineries as well as numerous overseas vintages at estates that include Domaine des Comtes Lafon, Chateau Mouton Rothschild and G.D. Vajra. Steve has been awarded International Red Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge in London, the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show, and has twice won the Max Schubert Trophy at the Adelaide Wine Show as well as being listed as one of the 50 most influential contributors to the world of wine by Decanter Magazine.
